As part of a group of dozens of agencies enlisted to help impress the IOC Evaluation Commission, Element 79 was one of a select final few partners tapped by the Chicago 2016 bid to produce films for the committee’s visit. Thanks to our deep sports experience, Chicago 2016 chose E79 to create an athlete endorsement film. The result was “Moments” – an emotionally compelling and visually arresting piece of storytelling, where prominent Olympians talk about what it means to compete and why the Games should come to Chicago. Unveiled at a press conference just before the IOC visit, “Moments” received significant press coverage, not only in Chicago, but nationally, and internationally. Shown during the 3^rd day of presentations, the film received rave reviews from the Chicago 2016 Bid Team, as well as a special note of recognition by IOC Committee Chair Nawal El Moutawakel. We didn’t win the games, but we did win over quite a few hearts and minds.
